GUIDING THE FUTURE OF SYCAMORE SCHOOLS

Dear Sycamore Voters,

This fall marks the 20th year our family has had children in the Sycamore Schools. All
five of our sons have been educated at Sycamore - three have graduated, but we still
have two children in the schools: one son in junior high and one in high school. For many
years I have been a dedicated volunteer and leader in our schools. I have been PTO
president four years total in two different schools (Maple Dale Elementary and EH
Greene School) and held numerous other positions of responsibility and leadership,
always working to ensure the very best for the children of our district.

In addition to my extensive volunteer leadership experience, I have a solid business
background…critical for the success of any board. I am co-owner of Cole Realty
Associates, a commercial real estate development company. I have worked as a
commercial loan officer for a regional bank and as a vice president for a multi-location
retail company with responsibilities for health and safety, insurance, communications and
office management.

These skills prepare me well to address the key issues facing Sycamore Schools:
•        Maintaining ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AND ACHIEVEMENT while
guiding the future of Sycamore Schools.
•        Managing BUDGETS AND FINANCIAL CHALLENGES with fiscal
responsibility.
•        Improving COMMUNICATION with parents, staff, administration, businesses
and taxpayers emphasizing strong community involvement.

I am passionate about serving this community and its children, and I respectfully
ask for your vote on November 6th.
